Bahan Membuat Chickpea Falafel || Arabian Snack

  1. 1 cup Chickpea (ato kacang arab istilah kita) yg kering.
  2. 1/2 bawang merah uk besar >> cacah.
  3. 1 genggaman daun ketumbar.
  4. 2 siung bawang putih.
  5. 1/2 sm ketumbar bubuk.
  6. 1/2 st jintan bubuk.
  7. 1/2 sm bubuk cabe.
  8. 1/2 st merica bubuk.
  9. 1 sm air perasan jeruk lemon.
  10. 2 sm tepung gandum (bisa dg protein rendah).
  11. Secukupnya garam halus.

Langkah Memasak Chickpea Falafel || Arabian Snack

  1. Siapkan kacang Chickpea (bisa beli di TBK, per ons hanya 7 rb, saya gunakan disini hanya 2 ons). Cuci kacang lalu rendam semalaman (simpan di chiller kulkas)..
  2. Besoknya keluarkan kacang dari kulkas saat mau dimasak, dan besarnya akan jd 2x lipat. Cup akan tampak full, tiriskan.
  3. Siapkan blender ato food processor, masukkan semua bahan. Haluskan dg speed rendah dulu bbrp saat.
  4. Stlh mulai tercacah baru pakai speed tinggi. Giling hg halus.
  5. Gunakan scoope ice cream utk mengambil adonan (boleh sendok apapun) agar size nya bisa sama nantinya. Lalu bulatĀ² kan ato sdkt dipipihkan jg boleh dan padatkan (sesuai selera ya).
  6. Goreng Falafel dg api sedang, bolak balik hg kecoklatan. Jk sudah matang angkat.
  7. Tiriskan di tissue dapur. Chickpea tdk menyerap minyak jd biasanya hanya sdkt yg nempel.
  8. Sajikan dg saus sambal botolan. Tp krn didalamnya sudah ada cabe bubuk dan merica biasanya sudah berasa ada pedasnya. Jk kurang suka dg aroma daun ketumbar bisa diganti dg daun seledri ya. Selamat mencoba šŸ™.
